hey!:)i know i'm a bit late at posting my question,but i was just wondering,is this foundation suitable for acne prone skin?because i've been doing a treatment and my skin looks so good now,so i wanted to try it on,but im scared it might break me out!what do you think?

I swatched NW35 & NC42 on my face and both looked the same! I ended up buying NW35 but now I think I should have purchased NC42 as well. I used NW35 on my entire face I think it looks way too tan. I'm going to have to mix this as well. Love the finish on this though!

I liked the finish of the foundation but the colour match for NW45 skin and darker is HORRIBLE plus I hate that it was soooo easy for this foundation to look streaky. Not unless they reformulate this foundation where you dont have to slap it on so quickly and make more "real" colours I will gladly stick to SFF. At least with that I only need one pump of foundie to cover my entire face and the colour matches with no streaking issues. Just my 2 cents.

I have the same exact shades NW35 and NC42 and I also mix them together to get a correct match. This is definitely my HG foundation. I have even found that it will last more than 15 hours! It really is impressive, only sucky thing is the price increase and poor color selection. But for the way it works I would purchase 2 bottles, its that worth it!

I wanted to venture into foundations, and the MAC MA suggested this, she gave me two samples to test out, NC35 and NC40 (I believe those were the two shades). Seemed too orange for me, and NC35 seemed two light. I'm not sure, I have to try it again, and that is a HUGE bummer :(

But I have oily skin, and I don't retouch throughout the day at all, and this lasted all day! I was really surprised. I might have to try the mixing thing..

I love this foundation too but also have issues with colour match. My normal MAC match is NW25 but in this foundation NW25 is too dark. yet NW20 is too light. So I wore it late summer when I still had a bit of a tan.

I completely agree with you about the MAC price increase. I have decided not to buy any MAC foundation. I currently use Clinique Golden Beige (I'm MAC NC42), and I want to buy NARS Syracuse when my financial situation improves. :)

I tried the foundation in both NC42 and NC45 and both were either too dark and too light, I did end up mixing the samples and found my perfect match. But, like you said, this foundation is awesome! I totally agree! The only bummer, as you mentioned, is the colour range, which in truth is the only thing holding me back from getting it. But I guess I can sacrifice that for awesome staying/oil control/sheer awesomeness
