 Funny thing, I didn't realize my tshirt had a picture of a bow and I had also worn a bow (frm H&M) when I took the pics...lol I literally saw them both when I uploaded the pictures...then I totally felt like Hello Kitty! (Maybe I dressed up too early for Halloween?...Haha)
So I guess I have different skintones in all of my pictures...lol oh well. I like playing around with the different functions on each cam...so I'm still learning! My skin has been acting up lately. It's mainly because I havn't been regular with my skincare routine. Lazy Me!

INOA Revolutionary Red Hair Transformation Contest Entry by L'Oreal Professional Canada

I was contacted by Matchstick a while back for the L'Oreal INOA Redhair Transformation Contest. I had to team up with hairstylists to create an entry. We had to use specific red/copper colours to create the final result. So once we had the transformation done....how do we win and what?

The hairstylists must submit their entry on Facebook and the highest number of votes (likes) will be the winner. The winning team will be featured in ELLE Canada magazine. 

So what's in it for the voters? Well...the more you vote the more chances of winning....

So what was the Hair Colour Formula? You can go to any L'Oreal Professional Hair Salon and ask for this. 5.60 base color with 7.40 (intense copper) faceframing thin highlights. 

My team colour stylists chose 5.60 (red) from the Inoa base shade and 7.45 (copper) Inoa for a face brightening highlights which were at the front. The back to back Sweet Meches panels were placed in a half-hexagon placement from the top to the sides of the hair, framing the face only to achieve the thin copper highlights. Also, keep in mind my hair level before was 6-7.

Here's Vanessa just starting to blow dry my hair and then once dry....she applied velcro rollers around the frame of my face and then used bobby pins to make clip on rolls for the rest of my hair.

My make-up wasn't really well done on that day since I had to rush  and I didn't know we were going to take final shot pictures on the same day since we kinda scheduled it for later. Anyways, so I had to improvise somehow. Wish I had better make-up on that day. =( My lips needed some colour.

A Super Quick Hair Update: Officially a Redhead!

I just couldn't wait to post this update about my hair colour. It's actually for a contest entry. I got it done today at a salon and I will update you guys with more info on this red hair madness soon....lol  =P

I had coloured my hair red back in 2007 so this is a change for me. =D I'm quite happy with the results.

Reds do not last long as they tend to fade faster...so I'll enjoy this while it lasts.

I took these pics at the end of the day (around 11:30pm)....so I'm pretty bummed out. I'll have better pics later on.

Lorac Snake Charmer & Mac Diva Lips FOTD

I did this look earlier this week  I do not wear dark bold lips often and so I wanted to try out Mac Diva lipstick this time. It's also quite suitable for the fall season. I also have a hard time capturing neutral eyeshadow looks on my camera since it ends up looking washed out. Oh well. =(

BTW....I toned down my hair a bit with the ION hair colour I bought recently. It was a medium golden brown colour. I did my roots with it (30 vol mixed and left in for 20minutes) and then made a toner with medium golden brown and a little ashblonde (10 vol) and left it on for less than 5minutes or so. I didn't want my highlights to go away entirely so I washed the colour out sooner. I just wanted my hair to be slightly darker than before.

I went to Sally's Beauty Supply Store and got these things....
  
All reduced tagged products were 50% off at my location....I got that tweezer for around $5 (original $10)and it's pretty good. I've used it already....so I'm impressed.
 The Keratin Reconstructor Kit was also on sale...($7.99). I have no idea if there will be positive results or not....however the Brazillian/Keratin hair Hair treatments have been quite popular amongst celebrities these days. I've also read blogger Anjali H's review about the actual Keratin Salon Treatment and the results were quite impressive. I have damaged hair with all the hair colouring and so I do need repairing treatments from time to time. Since, I found something similar to it at Sallys...I was anxious to try this out before getting the treatment at a salon.  
I actually want to tone down my hair a bit...so I'll be trying out this permanent hair colour soon. It's in medium golden brown. I hope it turns out fine. ====================================

Recently, my expensive HairArt straightening iron broke because of a clumsy accident. =( Unfortunately, it was with me for a short time period.  I loved it and I was missing an iron in the meantime. I was recommended by my friend Joolee to check out Winners (a Cdn department store) for an iron.  They have brands like Cortex, Angelique, Rust....etc. Many of their irons had pattern print but I don't really dig those too much so I tried to find a plain black iron.  I finally chose Fahrenheit Iron 1 1/4 inch which was $40.00. I've used it for a short time now....so far so good!
