My beautiful niece Zayana came to visit for a week. She's just TOO ADORABLE! She's about 7-8 months old.


 Awww....just look at her new teeth growing....reminds me of a bunny wabbit!
 
 I'm really going to miss her. I dropped her off at the airport yesterday and I was able to get a photo of us together. She was dressed as "Waldo" lol but she was being quite fussy when the photo was taken....=(

Ottawa Wedding Weekend Pictures!

A few weeks ago my cousin got married in Ottawa. I attended the magical wedding which she had planned for a very long time. It truly was amazing. I'm really happy for her.  
Congratulations to the Newly Weds!

So this was a Bengali Muslim wedding.

I went there on a Friday and I had arrived very late for the Holud (Haldi - Turmeric) Event and so I couldn't take that many pictures. I didn't even bother taking pictures of myself that day since I didn't really dress up much.

They have a beautiful house and they held the event program in their own back yard. They had arranged canopy tents for the guests and had a stage. The small canopies had food, fresh jelapis being cooked, sweets and a drink bar.

I'm just about to leave the house where I stayed at....I didn't really like my hairstyle too much....this hair stylist lady did it for me..lol It seemed too high and looked a bit too old fashion. I did like my own make-up though. I used The Balm Eyeshadow Palette,  Mac Twig lipstick, MUFE HD #6 Blush, Mac Gleeful Blush on top, Mac By Candlelight MSF  and some random Asian lashes which I didn't like (they ended up hurting).



Now onto the Wedding Day!

Now this is the traditional custom "Gate Dhora" where the brides side (younger relatives/friends) does not allow the groom to enter without giving a good amount of money. They initially asked for $10 K (i know crazy...lol)...but that didn't go too well... then negotiated to a smaller sum and made a final agreement. It did take them a while to agree on something though. Haha!

I was truly impressed by it....just AMAZING! Reminded me of Moghul times...

Toronto Beauty Blogger Meet-Up (Brunch)

I attended my first very beauty blogger meet-up (brunch) last Sunday at Pickle Barrel. I had a great time with the gorgeous Tdot bloggers and we enjoyed chatting away about make-up products, past and upcoming make-up collections. We're also looking forward to the IMATS this year which will be held in November. I am  thinking of going this time since I had missed it last year. I loved the Cargo goody and the sample Arbonne product. Thank you Farah for organizing another successful event. =)

Unfortunately, I didn't get to take too many pictures but here's what I have....

Later, we went to Sephora and Mac. I didn't buy anything from Mac since the new collections didn't appeal to me at all. I bought an OPI nailpolish from Sephora in Rumba Romance and I also got the Smashbox Kit with the 500 points I collected from Sephora. It's a great deal! I love it! It has a liquid shimmery highlight, eyelid primer, face primer, mascara and Pout lipgloss. I'm glad I waited long for this free kit. I just didn't like the other kits they previously had.
