HI Xina,
I think you totally ROCK ! You should be a make up artist in Bollywood. You are so talented. I love make up too and watching your videos and tutorials have helped me achieve certain looks I always thought were impossible for ordinary people like myself ! I just had one question : I am of south asian decent too, with a skin complexion quite close to yours and I recently purchased a MAC sheer NC35 ! Do you think this will be too light ? Should I have gone for the NC40 instead ? I wasn't sure in the store .....
Thanks and keep posting those wonderful videos :)
Best wishes
Saju

Mama Laura: Thanks hun!

Saju: I will start off with....OMG I love your blog! It's so delicious...Thai food is my biggest LOVE! I'm really impressed. I was wondering if you post recipes or which site do you check out for these?

Thanks for the sweet compliments...lol I can't really tell from your pic right now but I guess NC 35 may work fine for you if you are lighter than me. See how it looks on you and keep the receipt if you decide to exchange it.

Addictd3Fashn: Thanks but I know this colour would look pretty on you too!!! You should TOTALLY get it! Don't be scared...lol

Hi Xina !!!
I discovered your blog and oh my god : your makeup-looks are just GEORGOUS <.3 love love =)
You have a great and beautiful skin and I'm so happy because I'm a NC42/44 so I can compare colors and blushes!
I would like to ask you if you think that I should buy the Tahitian Beauty Powder HK ? because, in France the collection didn't always arrived and MAC Cosmetics cost very expensive (40$ for a beauty powder !!!!)...
Oh the NARS blush Desire and Lavender Whipe is so pretty on you =)
xOxO, Célie (sorry for my long comment and my bad english LOL)

oh, and last question, do you think that I can use a MSF in Medium Dark for my skin ? (I am more NC44, exactly same skintone that Rihanna)

Thanks ladiez! xoxoxo

MZCYNDEZ: You should definitely get lavender whip...it's so unique!

Celie:
Thnx hun! Since, Mac is very pricey in France...I don't think the Tahitian Beauty Powder is as necessary to get. I mainly got it for the packaging...it doesn't give much colour either. You should check out Nars blushes: Torrid and Desire ...NARS blushes are AWESOME! Since Mac is so expensive there...are Mac and Nars blushes the same price?

Also, MSF Medium Dark will be perfect for you.

Don't worry about your English...it's fine...lol

Hey Xina!

It looks so gorgeous, but unfortunately I noticed, that there seems to be no way to get Sweet Sienna Pigment here in Germany... :-(
Is there something comparable???

I like the combo of the eyes and lip. Great!

Hey Xina,
thanks for your answer :)
Yes, NARS are more expensive than MAC in France ... Nars Blushes cost 30€ (maybe 40$) and The Multiples cost 40€ (50$ !!!!) but I don't understand why it's so expensive because François Nars is a french guy LOL ... So I buy only blushes that I REALLY love lol. I have a Super Orgasm and Lovejoy but I think that I will buy Torrid and Desire if I come in USA during Holydays ¤HOPE¤ because they are beautiful on your skintone.

Sisa: A real good dupe of sweet sienna is quite hard to find. :S Maybe smokes and diamonds eyeshadow but that's also LE. :( I guess we should try several dirty grey colours on top of a black base and see how it goes.

Thanks Priya!

Tassy: Thank you so much! I love all the dish's on Saju's blog. They look simply delicious. I love Thai food...lol I know there are not too many south asian colour skintone ladies doing makeup on here but I do see a difference now. Just experiment and have fun!

Thanks Nazra!

celie: It's really expensive there. I would think deeply of my makeup choices before buying things that expensive lol. Good to know that you're gonna get it a bit cheaper from the US.

Hey zerin,

I finally got a sample of Sweet Sienna! YAY!

But there seems to be a little problem... did you ever press it?
I pressed a part of my sample today and there were very crazy things going on... as soon as the pigment came in touch with alcohol it left blue-green blotches everywhere it got in touch with. Whoa! I have blue-green fingers now. I swatched the pigment on my fingers and it looked very nice but when I took it off there suddenly were these blotches on my skin and I couldn't get em off. So scary! And now I am a little bit afraid to use it on my eyelids because they may be blue-green when I take the pigment off in the evening, LOL!
